Our collection
The artefacts in our exhibition rooms of the Foundation HAM in Thun and Burgdorf are as diverse as the fields of applications of the Swiss Armed Forces. We give you an insight into the equipment used by the Swiss Army from around 1800 to the present day. Our special exhibition”The convenient place – 200 years of the military training area in Thun”shows how Thun and its military training area have evolved.
The collection is not a museum and therefore we do not have regular opening or visiting hours. The showrooms of our collection are accessible by appointment free of charge and in guided tours in groups of at least 6 people.
Please note that we require a reasonable amount of preparation and coordination time to organize a tour. After your registration we will contact you and set up your visit.
